Asthma awareness:
Asthma is a very serious disease, an asthma attack is a code one for ambulances in Australia.
Why? – Because asthma is serious and is responsible for at least one death every day in Australia.
What is Asthma? -
Asthma is a reversible narrowing of the airways in the lungs. Asthma symptoms include wheezing, coughing (particularly at night), chest tightness, difficulty in breathing and shortness of breath. Asthma is a treatable health condition. Although at present there is no cure, with good management, people with asthma can lead normal, active lives.

The title defending fight between Danny Green and Manny Siaca that was going to be held in Sydney’s Entertainment Centre on April 14th, has now been moved to our (and Danny Green’s) hometown of Perth in Western Australia’s Challenge Stadium, April 18th.
In a move to bring more international viewed sports to Western Australia’s Perth and the attempt at pushing to host a possible Green vs Mundine fight, the Western Australian government has agreed to provide backing to the sum of $185,000.
“Danny Green is a proud Western Australian and I believe our investment to promote a Perth-based international sportsman who is passionate about Western Australia and Perth and uses every opportunity to promote it is a sound one,” Mr Barnett said.

Allen ‘Chumpy’ Pullin, made some lively primary runs in the Snowboarding Cross event at the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010. Qualifying first before falling in his next heat.
Pullin told the official Australian Olympic site of what transpired once he hit the front in his heat.
“It’s just part of the sport I guess. I got out in front, took a glance and saw I had Seth (Westcott) under control. I came into a critical section, came into a double-double and took an edge,” Pullin said.
“It felt really good today. It was just that one brief moment that’s how boardercross is.
“It was a really fun day, I enjoyed the competition and the atmosphere of my first Olympics,” he added.
