The Memorabilia Kings is a partnership between brothers-in-law, Shane Penny & Gerard Drayson.
Shane’s knowledge is drawn from his personal collection of memorabilia and his experience managing a memorabilia store in the northern suburbs. Gerard has been a collector of memorabilia since he was a kid and was seeking a career change from the mining industry.
The Memorabilia Kings started with the dream of doing something they both loved and were passionate about. This common link was memorabilia and it therefore seemed a natural progression to turn their passion into a livelihood. Why not get up every day and be surrounded by something that invokes excitement and enthusiasm?
With that idea in mind, the Memorabilia Kings opened its doors in August 2008 with the aim of bringing authentic memorabilia from collectors such as themselves to the broader public. We aim to create and source products that have the WOW factor as well as being authentic.
We believe in preserving the integrity of memorabilia and we have a couple of rules that we stand by:
- We won’t buy from EBay; and
- Our signed pieces are the product of paid signings. This ensures a supply of authentic signatures that will appreciate in value over time – not a signature scrawled on the run at training.
We have created solid working alliances with collectors in Western Australia and the Eastern States. All signed products are backed with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Our products are sold through our gallery located in Malaga. We also attend a variety of shopping centres in the Perth metropolitan area. You can also buy online from our secure website.
